Hello, my name is James Daniel Stevens, my kidney disease is PKD that I inherited from my Mom.
In 2001, I went on PD but in October I received a transplant from a co-worker of mine. In 2004, I had surgery to remove my very large native kidneys.
But due to surgery complications, my transplanted kidney stopped working. I went on HD but in January 2005 my transplanted kidney started working again enough for me to come off dialysis.
Unrelated to my kidney situation, in 2007, I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer but it was early stage and I was able to have a successful procedure to

Sorry, I wasn’t able to complete my comment.
Essentially we formed ReMend in conjunction with Balboa Nephrology in San Diego.
I also provide mentoring to family members that have PKD and are on dialysis or received a transplant like my middle Son.
I agree with the issues highlighted in the conversation.
I myself have not had any problems with my transplant medications. My eGFR is at 78-82!
